Product information "Cooling Vest"
The Portwest cooling vest is built for anyone working outdoors or in hot environments who needs to stay physically active while keeping core body temperature under control. Instead of relying on bulky cooling packs, it uses a specially developed mesh fabric that lowers body temperature and helps counter the harmful effects of heat stress, all without restricting freedom of movement.
Activation is simple: soak the vest in cold water and it starts cooling quickly, staying effective for up to eight hours at a stretch. Once the effect fades, the vest can be reactivated within minutes, making it practical for long shifts that need continuous cooling support. The fabric itself is light and comfortable to wear, and the cut is designed to leave the waist free, making sitting and standing easier and keeping the vest comfortable over extended wear.
Three pockets, including a dedicated pencil pocket and two patch pockets at the bottom, add useful storage for small tools or personal items during the workday. This makes the vest a good fit for construction workers, logistics staff, agricultural workers, and anyone else doing physical outdoor work where heat stress is a genuine occupational risk.
