The Classic knee pads are designed for anyone who spends long hours working on their knees and needs reliable protection, such as flooring installers, tilers or workers on construction sites. These are insert pads made to fit into specially designed bib and work trousers, shaped ergonomically so they move with the knee instead of restricting it.
The pads are made from EVA, a closed-cell foam material. This keeps them resistant to dirt and moisture, since nothing can penetrate the closed pores, while also giving a point-elastic, shape-retaining feel on the knee. The foam cushions impact each time the knee is set down, without losing its shape over time, so the cushioning effect holds up even with frequent use.
The knee pads are certified to DIN EN 14404, Type 2, the standard covering knee protection for kneeling work. This certification applies in combination with specific inba bib and work trousers into which the pads are inserted, confirming that the pad-and-trouser combination meets the requirements for impact absorption and shape stability.
