The GUNOVA chemical protective apron from Nitras shields the torso and legs during work with aggressive liquids and splashes. Measuring 90 x 110 cm, it offers generous coverage for kitchens, production lines and cleaning tasks, and its food-contact approval makes it suitable even where direct contact with food cannot be avoided.
The apron is cut from a tough 0.5 mm PVC film without a knitted backing, giving it a robust, liquid-tight surface that holds up under frequent contact with chemicals and water without soaking through. The eyelets are reinforced and heat-welded so they won't tear out even with daily use, while the neck and side straps made from polyester twill tape provide a secure, comfortable fit that doesn't cut into the skin.
Classified as PPE category III, the GUNOVA is designed for users with an elevated need for protection. The Type PB [3] and Type PB [4] ratings indicate resistance to liquid splashes and liquid spray, meaning the apron withstands both direct splashing and finer chemical spray mist. In practice, this gives the wearer a reliable barrier in situations where ordinary workwear would quickly soak through or be compromised.
