The 2812477 bundjacket from Rofa's New Active line is built for anyone who needs freedom of movement and smart storage throughout the working day. With its stand-up collar, numerous pockets and adjustable cuffs, it's aimed at tradespeople and industrial users looking for a robust yet comfortable jacket for daily wear. The zip-and-velcro closure at the front centre gives a secure fastening that's easy to handle even while wearing gloves.
The fabric, known as Gewebe 281, is a stretch twill made from cotton, polyester and elastolefin, weighing around 250 g/sqm. The elastolefin content gives the material real give, which makes a noticeable difference when reaching overhead or bending down repeatedly – the jacket moves with the body instead of restricting it. Shoulders and waistband are reinforced with Cordura fabric trim, a textile known for its resistance to abrasion, protecting exactly the areas that see the most wear on the job. Movement pleats in the back panel and a vented back yoke further improve mobility and airflow underneath the jacket.
The pocket layout is equally well thought through: two chest pockets with flaps and a stitched pen pocket, a divided sleeve pocket on the right, a further sleeve pocket on the left, and two zipped side pockets provide plenty of room for tools and personal items. Two large interior pockets round off the storage concept. Reflective details on the shoulders, back and sleeves improve visibility in low-light conditions, useful on construction sites or during outdoor work. The bundjacket comes in marine-cornflower blue and spans 26 sizes from 102 to 29, covering nearly every build.
