The 872090 work trousers from Rofa's PROBAN® ARC FLASH TESTED collection are built for anyone facing open flame, heat or electric arc hazards on the job. They suit workers in industry and skilled trades who need dependable protective clothing without sacrificing comfort. The waistband with belt loops sits comfortably, and the various pockets can be used flexibly depending on the task at hand.
The fabric is a twill weave made from 78% cotton, 20% polyester and 2% other fibres, weighing around 330 g/sqm. This results in a sturdy yet comfortable material that holds up well during physical work. A key practical advantage is that the PROBAN® fabric retains its flame-resistant properties even after repeated washing, which matters a great deal for workwear that gets cleaned frequently.
The trousers protect against the thermal hazards of an electric arc flash as well as heat, flames and small amounts of sprayed or splashed chemicals, such as those encountered during welding work. The front of the trousers is double-layered, which further increases protection against arc flash incidents. The fabric is also electrostatically dissipative, reducing the risk of uncontrolled discharges in the working environment.
