The BizTex microporous boot cover Type PB is a disposable overshoe designed to protect both footwear and flooring wherever cross-contamination is a concern. It suits environments such as food processing, cleanrooms and healthcare settings, where the overshoe shields the floor from the shoe and the shoe from the floor in equal measure.
The elasticated band around the top gives secure, all-round coverage without restricting movement. The elastic cuff adjusts to different shoe sizes and stays firmly in place even during long shifts or frequent changes, a real benefit anywhere staff need to put on or remove overshoes quickly and often.
The cover meets the requirements of EN14126 for biological protection, guarding against contact with biologically contaminated substances, and also complies with EN1149-1 for antistatic protection, important wherever electrostatic build-up could pose a risk to products, processes or people. Certified as CE Category III PSA and UKCA marked, it is suitable for use in both the EU and UK markets.
Supplied in pairs, the sales unit comprises 200 pairs, a practical volume for businesses with high, regular usage such as manufacturing sites, laboratories or clinical settings.
