The 2091 bib overall from Rofa's PROBAN® LICHTBOGENGEPRÜFT range is built for anyone working near electrical arc flash, open flame, heat or welding sparks. The front section is double-layered at the most exposed points, adding extra protection against arc faults without making the garment feel bulky or stiff to wear.
The fabric is a durable cotton-polyester blend with a small share of other fibres, woven as a sturdy twill at around 330 g/sqm. That combination keeps the bib overall holding its shape and protective properties even under frequent wear and washing. An adjustable waistband and stretch-panel braces move with the body and keep the fit comfortable through long shifts, while several pocket options give room for tools and small items depending on the job at hand.
The flame-retardant Proban® fabric protects against the thermal hazards of an electrical arc flash, against heat and flame, and against small amounts of sprayed or splashed chemicals. Its electrostatic dissipative property also helps prevent hazardous static build-up during relevant tasks. This flame resistance is maintained even after repeated washing, which matters in workplaces with high laundering demands.
That makes the bib overall a solid choice for electricians, welders and anyone working in environments with arc flash or heat exposure. Available in cornflower blue across 26 sizes, it can be matched precisely to different body types across a workforce.
