The Rofa cap 604129 is a multi-standard certified accessory designed for workers whose headwear needs to meet the same protective requirements as the rest of their workwear. Cut with a turn-up brim, it sits snugly on the head, and its one-size fit adapts flexibly to different head shapes, making it a practical addition for companies with standardised protective clothing programmes.
The knit fabric combines modacrylic, cotton, elastane and a small share of other fibres, weighing approximately 180 g/sqm. This blend gives the cap the soft, stretchy feel typical of a classic knit hat, with the cotton content adding comfort against the skin and the modacrylic fibres providing the protective function. As a result, the cap remains comfortable to wear even over extended periods under helmets or other headgear.
The cap is tested to EN ISO 15025 Procedure A, which assesses surface flame spread and is relevant in environments with sparks or brief flame exposure. It also meets EN 1149-3, a standard for antistatic properties that helps dissipate electrostatic charge, making it useful where this kind of risk is present.
