The Blaklader 2931 is an all-round work glove designed for daily use in tough conditions. Its 15 gauge construction makes it slightly thicker and more durable than the thinner 2930, while still staying supple enough for tasks that demand a fine sense of touch. That combination suits tradespeople, mechanics, electricians, painters and warehouse staff, as well as construction and assembly work where precision matters.
The palm is covered in a sandy nitrile foam coating that keeps its grip secure even in oily or dirty environments. The polyamide/elastane lining gives the glove a close, flexible fit, and although it has no additional lining, the microporous coating lets the hand breathe rather than trap heat. The whole glove is made without chromium, which matters for anyone wearing gloves for hours at a stretch.
The 2931 is tested to EN ISO 21420 and EN 388 (4131X), a standard covering mechanical risks. The 4131X rating reflects resistance to abrasion, cut, tear and puncture, confirming that the glove holds up under more demanding mechanical strain as well as everyday wear. Classified as PPE Category 2, it's built for the medium-level risks typically found in workshops, on building sites or in warehouses.
