The 2137JA antistatic jacket from the Mauser product line is built for anyone working in environments where electrostatic discharge is a real risk, without giving up on thoughtful practical features. Available in twelve sizes from 42/44 to 118/122, it suits individual professionals as well as full team outfitting.
The fabric blend of polyester, cotton and antistatic fibres, at a weight of 240 g/m², makes for a jacket that is sturdy yet comfortable to wear all day. Knitted inserts at the sides of the body and at the cuffs allow freedom of movement exactly where it is needed, while the ergonomically shaped sleeve with reinforced elbows keeps up with an active work routine without restricting the arms. The stand-up collar with press stud closes quickly without adding bulk or discomfort.
The EN 1149 standard applies to clothing designed to dissipate electrostatic charge instead of letting it build up in the fabric. This matters wherever sparks from static discharge pose a hazard, such as near flammable materials or sensitive electronics. Classified as PPE Category II, the jacket is intended for medium-level risks.
On top of that, the 2137JA is generously equipped for daily use: two chest pockets and two side pockets with flap and concealed hook-and-loop closure, extra slash pockets on the sides, and two inner pockets with side zips provide plenty of room for tools, documents or personal items. Segmented reflective triangles on the flaps and back panel further improve visibility, for example on construction sites or in industrial settings.
