The Howie ESD coat is built for anyone working in electrostatically sensitive environments who still wants a garment that's comfortable to wear all day. A 6-row snap closure makes it quick to put on and take off, while three pockets – two at thigh level and a chest pen pocket – keep tools and small items within easy reach without getting in the way.
It's made from a polyester/cotton fabric designed for long shifts: lightweight, hard-wearing and comfortable against the skin. Ribbed knit cuffs sit snugly at the wrists for extra warmth and comfort. A water- and soil-repellent Texpel finish keeps the coat cleaner for longer, and the scratch-resistant design with no exposed metal parts protects sensitive components and surfaces nearby.
The real protection comes from carbon fibre woven throughout the fabric, giving the coat permanent ESD and antistatic properties that won't wear off over time. It's tested to EN 61340-5-1, the standard for protection against electrostatic discharge, and is also CE certified.
This makes the Howie a strong fit for electronics manufacturing, cleanrooms and other ESD-controlled areas where sensitive components need protection from static build-up. Available in Black, Hamilton Blue, Navy and White, in sizes XS to XXXL, it suits both individual technicians and full team fit-outs.
