The ELYSEE® Greg bump cap looks like an ordinary baseball cap but protects the head against minor bumps and knocks, the kind that can happen in warehouses, production areas or on site. That makes it a good option for anyone who needs head protection without wearing a full safety helmet, particularly where freedom of movement matters and heavier protective gear isn't required.
The outer material is a polyester-cotton blend, giving the cap a comfortable feel and good breathability for all-day wear. Inside sits a PP shell that provides the actual impact protection without adding noticeable weight, the whole cap weighs only around 185 grams. The peak comes in a two-tone design with an embroidered sandwich centre panel, and the head size can be adjusted from 53 to 59 cm via a sliding closure at the back for a precise fit. A built-in reflective piping also improves visibility.
The cap is tested to EN 812, the standard for bump caps. This standard confirms protection against head injuries from impact, for example bumping into fixed objects, though it does not replace a safety helmet designed to protect against falling objects.
