The Active Extreme bib overalls from Scheibler are built for tradespeople and construction workers who need trousers that can take a beating on site. The twill fabric at around 250 g/m² feels sturdy without being bulky, and triple stitching at the key stress points keeps the seams holding where cheaper trousers would give way first.
The knee area is where the design really pays off: the insert option for knee pads works together with the hook-and-loop knee pockets, taking real pressure off anyone who spends much of the day kneeling. Elastic panels at the waistband and braces add freedom of movement for overhead work or frequent bending, while reflective piping front and back improves visibility in low-light conditions.
Storage is well thought through too. Alongside the front and rear pockets, a bellows thigh pocket, hammer loop and dedicated slots for a folding rule, pen and phone keep tools within reach instead of buried in a pocket.
