The ABEK2 gas filter from the inba respiratory protection range is built for anyone who needs to equip a full face mask against a wide range of gases and vapours. Its standardised DIN thread connection to EN 148-1 lets it fit any full face mask with the same standard connection, making it usable regardless of the mask manufacturer. Supplied as a pack of four, it suits businesses running several masks as well as anyone needing regular filter replacement during ongoing use.
As a class 2 filter, it offers a higher capacity range than class 1 filters and protects against organic and inorganic acid gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide, and ammonia and its derivatives, provided their boiling point is above 65°C. It's worth noting that this filter does not protect against gases with a lower boiling point or against particulates, so choosing the right filter for the job matters.
