The ABEK2 gas filter from the inba respiratory protection range is built for anyone who needs to equip a full face mask against a wide range of gases and vapours. Its standardised DIN thread connection to EN 148-1 lets it fit any full face mask with the same standard connection, making it usable regardless of the mask manufacturer. Supplied as a pack of four, it suits businesses running several masks as well as anyone needing regular filter replacement during ongoing use.
As a class 2 filter, it offers a higher capacity range than class 1 filters and protects against organic and inorganic acid gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide, and ammonia and its derivatives, provided their boiling point is above 65°C. That covers a wide range of hazards found in industrial and trade settings, from solvent vapours to acid gases from chemical processes. It's worth noting that this filter does not protect against gases with a lower boiling point or against particulates, so choosing the right filter for the job matters.
