The 4PROTECT KINGSTON is a multifunctional fleece jacket designed for anyone who needs a warm yet certified layer to wear under or combined with other protective clothing. It zips into the OTTAWA (item 3500) and EDMONTON (item 3510) multi-norm outer jackets, turning it into a flexible building block of a layered protection system rather than just an ordinary fleece.
The outer fabric, a blend of modacrylic, cotton, polyester and an antistatic fibre, gives the jacket a soft, comfortable feel while still delivering flame-resistant performance. Practical details such as the covered YKK branded zips, two covered front pockets and partially elasticated cuffs make it easy to wear day to day, and a shoulder seam reinforced with an inner webbing tape adds durability at a high-wear point.
The KINGSTON is certified to EN ISO 13688, the general standard for protective clothing, EN ISO 11612 for heat and flame protection, and EN 14058 for cold-weather protective clothing. Its antistatic finish meets EN 1149-5, dissipating electrostatic charge, while IEC 61482-2 certifies protection against the effects of an electric arc fault. As Category III PPE, it is intended to guard against serious, irreversible risks.
This makes the KINGSTON suitable for environments with elevated thermal or electrical risk, including construction and road construction, fire services, waste management, vehicle and machine building, foundry work, and public authorities and organisations. It also performs well as a warm, protective mid-layer in forestry, gardening and agriculture, climate engineering, logistics and warehousing.
