The COLUMBUS hi-vis sweatshirt by 4PROTECT® is built for anyone working outdoors who needs to stay visible on the job. Available in bright orange across ten sizes from 3XL to XXL, it suits a wide range of body types and work settings, from construction sites to public authority and organisational roles.
Its blended fabric of recycled polyester and cotton is designed with comfort in mind: the cotton fibres sit directly against the skin, keeping it dry and soft even during long shifts. The outer layer, made from recycled polyester, is tough and holds its colour well, giving the sweatshirt real durability – according to the manufacturer, it withstands up to 25 washes without losing its high-visibility performance.
When it comes to protection, the COLUMBUS meets several standards: EN ISO 13688 sets out the general requirements for protective clothing, EN 13758-2 confirms tested UV protection in the fabric, and EN ISO 20471 covers high-visibility clothing designed to keep the wearer clearly visible even in poor light conditions. As Category II PPE, it is intended to protect against medium-level risks.
