The PATERSON hi-vis shorts from 4PROTECT are built for anyone who needs to stay visible outdoors without wearing full-length hi-vis trousers in warm weather. The bright orange colour ensures strong visibility, while the shorter leg length gives noticeably more freedom of movement on hot days. Available in 10 sizes from 3XL to XXL, they offer a good fit across a wide range of body types.
The main fabric is a hard-wearing twill blend of polyester and cotton, while the contrast fabric adds elastane for targeted stretch panels. In practice, this combination pays off: the robust twill withstands the daily wear of construction sites and trade work, while the stretch sections at key movement zones keep the shorts from feeling restrictive when bending, kneeling or reaching. The ergonomic, close-fitting cut reinforces this effect, making the PATERSON a garment you can wear through a full shift without it getting in the way.
The shorts are certified to EN ISO 13688:2013, which sets out general requirements for protective clothing such as ergonomics and material properties, and to EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016 class 1, the hi-vis standard that ensures wearers are spotted early thanks to signal colour and reflective elements, with class 1 covering the base level of visible area.
