The 4PROTECT 3D knee pads are insert pads designed for use in work and bib trousers certified for this purpose. They are aimed at anyone who kneels regularly on the job, providing noticeably more comfort and protection at a body part that takes a heavy toll during daily work.
Made from 100% polyethylene foam, the pads are lightweight yet retain their shape well. Their 3D contour follows the natural shape of the knee, so the pad stays in place while kneeling and remains comfortable to wear over longer periods. As a simple insert, it can be fitted into the relevant trousers easily and removed again whenever needed.
The actual protective effect only comes into play together with trousers certified for use with these pads: combined, they meet the requirements of EN 14404-3:2024, performance level 1. This standard governs knee protection during kneeling work and helps reduce pressure and point loads on the knee joints, making an important contribution to preventing the knee damage that frequent kneeling can cause. Classified as PPE category II, the pads count as certified personal protective equipment against medium-level risks.
