It combines a waterproof outer shell with a detachable fleece that can also be worn on its own, effectively giving you two garments in one for changing weather conditions. The Texpel™ Splash Eco fabric finish makes water bead straight off the surface without relying on PFAS chemicals. Taped seams keep moisture from creeping in at the stitching, while the fabric still lets body heat and sweat escape, so the jacket stays breathable rather than clammy. Everyday details like the hook-and-loop cuff tabs, the adjustable hem cord and the concealed front hook-and-loop fastening keep the jacket sitting securely and draughts out, while the chin guard with storm flap and the removable hood add extra protection without getting in the way.
